Weather and scheduling

Can you fly anywhere in South London?
Every flight is checked against current airspace restrictions before it's booked in. Most residential areas are straightforward, but some locations near airports or other restricted airspace may need extra permission or may not be possible — I'll flag this at the quote stage if it applies to your address.
What happens if the weather's bad on the day?
Drone flights only go ahead when it's safe to fly. If wind, rain or poor visibility rules it out, I'll get in touch to rearrange for the next suitable day — there's no extra cost for a weather delay.

Booking

What's your cancellation policy?
If you cancel at least 48 hours before the booked flight, your £50 deposit is refunded in full. With less than 48 hours' notice, the deposit isn't refunded. You can also move your booking to another date with at least 48 hours' notice and keep your deposit. If bad weather means I have to rearrange, your deposit carries over to the new date — a weather delay never costs you anything.
How and when do I pay?
A £50 deposit secures your date. Once you're happy with the quote, I'll email you a secure link to pay it by card. The deposit comes off your final price, and the rest is paid when your report or photos are delivered.Pay your deposit

On the day

How long does a flight take?
A typical visit takes 30–60 minutes in total, including setting up. Larger properties take longer.

Safety and permissions

What permissions do you fly under?
I operate under a CAA Operator ID and Flyer ID.
Are you insured?
Yes. Every flight is covered by £5m of third-party liability insurance, arranged through Coverdrone, which meets the CAA's insurance requirement for commercial drone flights. I can send evidence of cover on request.

Privacy

What about my neighbours' privacy?
Faces and number plates are blurred in anything published, and exact addresses are never shown. This is about your roof and property, not what's happening next door.
Is there something I can give my neighbours before the flight?
Yes. There's a short note you can print and put through their doors. You fill in the date, a rough time and the house or flat number and street by hand, so no address is printed on it. It explains what the flight is for and what I do with anything I publish. You'll find it at nabarroaerial.com/neighbour-note/, and the link is also in the email you get after requesting a quote.See the neighbour note
