What this can and can't show you
I can only photograph what's visible from the air, so this doesn't replace a roofer's hands-on inspection or a building survey.
What it can show
- The outside of the property as a 3D model
- Roof and site measurements from the same capture
- How the buildings, roofs and grounds fit together
What it can't show
- Anything inside the building or under the roof surface
- What's behind the walls and roof, such as beams and joists
- Anything under dense trees or other cover
- Glass, shiny or very thin features, which may not model cleanly
- Legal boundary lines or land ownership
About this service
A photogrammetry capture builds a 3D model of the property from overlapping aerial photos, which also gives roof and site measurements without anyone needing to measure by hand.
